Decision to Level Up HR Process

In Oct 2020, Thakral One’s management decided to acquire a Cloud-based HRMS System to keep a record of employee’s data, automate payroll processes, effectively doing away with cumbersome paper processes with eLeave, eClaim, mobile time attendance, performance appraisal and Learning Management system.

In a few months, they have viewed several demos and finally shortlisted Frontier e-HR Pte Ltd as it is able to meet their HRM System requirements.

    • Does the vendor have a PDPA policy, business continuity & cybersecurity protocol in place?
  3. Vendor’s full suite of modules. An HRIS system is a long-term investment, so scalability and integration are important.
    • Is the system complete with Talent Management System?
    • Does it integrate with other modules or other business systems such as Accounting System?
    • Is the system configurable and scalable?
  4. Vendor’s Experience. This is important as each industry has a vastly different way of handling HR administration. For example, the HR process for eLeave, workflows requirements for Expense Claim system as well payroll processing vary from industry to industry.

    • Any reputable companies in the Technology Consulting industry?
  5. Vendor’ Knowledge. This is very crucial as possessing a deep understanding of not only Singapore Payroll software, but other countries including Malaysia and Thailand will help avoid inconveniences.

  6. Vendor’s Reviews and Reputation. Reviews and Reputation say a lot about a Vendor.

Process & Results

Thakral One has evaluated a handful of vendors. In addition to the above selection criteria, they had taken the full cost, implementation service and process, and training scope into consideration.

An extra bonus to Thakral One is that Frontier e-HR is a pre-approved vendor by Enterprise Singapore under Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG) for the HR Software and Payroll Outsourcing service, Singapore. With these grants, they get up to 98% funding with HR digitalisation.
