Under Armour Leverages on Cloud-based Solution to Minimize Manual Labour

Considered a relatively new player in the market, Under Armour competes with several other sports retail giants such as Nike, Adidas & New Balance. However, having just entered Singapore’s market in May 2014, they have now expanded to 6 retail stores with more than 160 employees across the island.

Frontier e-HR sealed the deal with Under Armour by providing solutions to assist with the Payroll processing and Leave administration services. Apart from that, with the importance of Human Capital in mind, an Appraisal system was also set up in order to track of their employees’ performance and progress to ensure growth and development within the company. This is also in line with the continuous feedback required to ensure clear communications between employees and their line managers.

Under Armour went live with our cloud-based solutions in February 2018. By leveraging on Frontier e-HR’s platform, instead of spending hours tracking the amount of leaves taken by various employees, all employees can now help themselves by logging into their personal accounts to check on their leave balance and apply leave accordingly. In addition, the Human Resources team are now able to move forward to more strategic tasks by focusing their time and energy on analysing and developing strategies to help improve employees’ skills and progression. Finally, through the outsourcing of Payroll processing services to Frontier e-HR, the Human Resources team can rest assured that employees are paid accurately and on time every month. Imagine the amount of time saved after we’ve taken all these time-consuming tasks out of their hands!
